There IS an App for That

Here is a recent email conversation between The Coach and I.

Me:  Ack.  I have gained THREE pounds this week!!

Him:  Eat less.

Thank goodness he explained THAT.  I have always had a hard time understanding that calorie/weight relationship.  I am glad he was there to figure it all out for me.

Maybe next time I could get a, "I didn't notice."  Or perhaps, "Don't worry about it.  It's the holidays."  Or possibly since he just bought an app to alert him of my PMS schedule, he could have said, "Probably just water retention."

I will forgive him though since he is a man and likes solutions and since he tells me on a pretty regular basis how hot he thinks I am.  How sweet is that?

(My last two posts have been lengthy, so I thought I would throw in a quickie.)

If you are here from the hops - Welcome and please take a look around. Drop me a note if you are a new follower.  I would love to check out a few new blogs.  Thanks!

  3. Is there anything there's not an app for. I mean how great is it that they can be warned about upcoming PMS! So now he has no excuse to not buy you chocolate, tip toe around, and give you lots of extra attention.

  10. Just like a guy to try and solve the problem. That would get a hearty, "why don't you eat less, bub?" from me!

  11. LOL! That was great. My hubby (who is 60 pounds soaking wet and has NEVER had to diet in his life) says that to me too. *sigh* Maybe some day he will understand?!?

  12. Oh my, that's the last thing we want to hear (even if true but it COULD be water!). :)

I like to weight myself before/after long runs to see how my body reacts. I can lose a few pounds during the run and weight more than my starting weight the next day.... swollen muscles!

    Have a great weekend!
