Dinner and Midnight Musings

So, last night I went to work out. I have to get back on track. Last weeks bronchitis was not conducive to exercising. Can’t Breathe, Can’t Run. That’s my motto. So I am getting quite nervous as my next triathlon is three weeks from Saturday. This will be the first one I have done since I got pregnant with Shaye-Baby. She is now almost eight months old. I would REALLY not have to be fished out of the bay by a volunteer. That is the fear I keep replaying in my head.

So I went and I ran thirty minutes, that is probably close to three miles, and I swam 500 yards. Then I went home and made
this.
I am certain it’s healthy. The potatoes aren’t fried they are baked…and that makes is good for you, right? We haven’t quite decided what to name this dish at my house – Heart Attack on a Plate? ThePioneerWoman calls it Hot Hamburger, so we will probably stick with that. It was good. The kids liked it. The husband LOVED it, but suggested I crumble the hamburger in lieu of the patty. Keep in mind they will eat anything. Give it a try and let me know if you like it.

Other than that I got up at 3:00 am for about a minute to help Shaye-Baby out then I could not go back to sleep. So I sat and pondered new blog subjects. This is new and exciting to me. I should have written them down, of course other ideas thought up at 3:00 are probably best forgotten. It did start me thinking though, “How do others write their blogs?” Do you write it on paper first? Do you prewrite on Word and then cut and paste? Or do you just sign on and write away? Maybe you have a lap top and you used down time to write. Can I get fired for blogging during work hours? Lunch? What’s your method? Let me know.

  1. I agree that the test was harsh. Good point about their deaths. I think Eloise might be trying to prevent some circumstances, like Daniel's death.

On your comment on my blog, I think Jacob and Charles are working together. Esp. after the "Lighthouse" ep, where Jacob tells Hurley that there were people coming to the island (that he had to help - but after Jack's temper tantrum they'd, "find another way")

  2. If you would do what I tell you and get a new smart phone, you can simply enter your thoughts into your blog as you have them, which should be seldom enough that you don't even have to worry about running the battery down.
