So many kids, I don't know what to do.

3!

For reasons I don't want to mention my computer had a glitch. It is fixed now.
I just couldn't resist putting up these pictures of Tayte's third birthday even though they are two weeks late.

This may be my new favorite picture of him except for that he looks so much like a big boy. That's it! I am going to go find a baby picture.

Here. This is good. His first birthday. How cute. Both of them.

(Is it just me or does he look a tad concerned that we are holding him to close to an open flame?)

Back to the story.

Our birthday tradition is that Gramma will fix you whatever you want for your birthday dinner. Tayte requested green beans, and bread, and butter. The rest of the family was NOT impressed. He also wanted blue cake with chocolate icing.

(I opted out of finding a cool cake to make and just arranged some cupcakes Saige made all by herself in the shape of a three. )

Earlier that day his brothers and sister were forced to take him fishing because it was his birthday and that is what he wanted to do. Also Gramma, The Coach and I had some gossip to discuss. Isn't he just the cutest little red headed fisherman ever? Even though he lacks some form.

This is Tayte earlierthat day. Can you tell what he is doing?

His sister had decorated some cupcakes with chocolate sprinkles. She made a mess. He was just helping her clean it up.

By licking them off of the floor.

A normal person would say, "stop that" and wash the ground up chocolate off of his feet before he could walk on the new carpet.

I (like any self respecting blogger) just ran for my camera.

"What? You didn't want me to eat sprinkles off the floor? I shared with the dog."

Adorable. I couldn't resist. He was about two months old here. I am sure it was NOT cold enough for that hat, but it is cute!!
I feel so organized. It is Thursday night and I already am putting up the buttons for the hops!! Join and enjoy.

  5. Oh my goodness ... he is too cute. They grow up so fast. When I was looking at the "Before" and "After" pics of my daughter this week in the orthodontist's office, I could NOT believe how much more grown up she is in just 18 months! Scary. And a little sad. Although it has to happen.

Sorry that your braces journey is not yet over with your son. Yes, at times, I thought the rubberband saga was going to drive me nuts. But I think her "girl vanity" finally kicked in and she wanted those suckers off. Once again, when SHE made the choice, it happened. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog from Shell's place!
