1. Do you think mustaches are sexy?

~ Yes. The Couch always wears a mustache. It is red. I love it. He changes it up sometimes, goatee, sideburns, fu man chu. His is always well groomed though and never scraggly. Ever.

2. What is the last concert you have been too.

~ Oh could it be? The last concert I went to was Neil Diamond. My dad got tickets for my mom, but didn't actually want to go with her. I was the youngest person there I think.

3. What was your favorite 80's sitcom?

~The show I never missed in high school was The Cosby Show. I would sit in the recliner with my dad and watch it.

4. Were you named after anyone?

~ Nope.

5. When you buy new clothes do you wash before wearing?

~Not clothes. I wash bras before I wear them becuase Oprah said.

6. If you didn't blog what would you do with your spare time?

~ Probably a little more of everything. Like, a little more grading at home, a little more playing outside (when it is not 110 degrees.), a little more cleaning and A LOT more reading.

7. What is your favorite department store?

~ Lately I have been doing alot of shoppin in Kohl's.

8. If you were going to get laser hair removal where would you get it?

~ I have no idea. I don't think I would do that. Sorry.

1. If you were to win an award today what would it be for?
I am pretty sure lately I would win a "not so much" beauty pageant. We are moving and it is hot and I look like crudola. Even my husband who never seems to notice when I am ugly made some quip about whether or not I had lost my makeup in th move.

2. What is your shoe style?
I love heels. This is a new thing since I have gotten a little older. I just like the way they look. I am also a sucker for a cute pair of boots!

3. Does your car reflect your personality.
Yes and no. It does not because I don't think mini van is really "me." On the other hand I think the fact that it is full of trash and important papers and falling apart is indicative of something I would own.

4. If you could take over someone's body for the day who would you choose?
Someone fast. Just for the day it would be so cool to see what it feels like to run a 7 minute mile. Make that someone fast and young. I don't want to be sore when this experience is over.

6. If you were on death row what last meal would you choose?
Oh. Too many choices. If I were on death row right now I would choose my mom's chicken fried steak, and mashed potatoes with gravy. For desert I would choose that molten chocolate cake from Olive Garden. ( I have to go now and call my mom. Think she would believe I was on death row?)

7. Have you been on vacation this summer? If so, Where?
Nope. Moved instead.

8. What is your favorite food related guilty pleasure?
I love McDonald's fries. I have finally convinced myself though that after three or four they are no good anymore. I haven't been able to convince myself of the same thing involving cookies. I love cookies.

1. If you had 5000.00 to spend on plastic surgery what you would you have done?
I would probably go have my boobs moved back up to their original position. You know where they were before I breastfed five kids and wasn't able to hide treasure under them.

2. Do you watch soap operas and if so which one is your favorite and why?
The last soap I watched was Santa Barbara with my mom and I don't even think it is on any more. I really just don't have the patience for them, plus I work away from home during the day.

3. Favorite clothing brand?
It was New York, but now I have branched out. I shop a lot at Kohl's, but don't stick to one brand necessarily.

4. An afternoon shopping spree at your favorite store, or maid service for a year?
Well I already have a cleaning woman who comes every other week. If I still get to keep her I would go for the shopping!!!!! (If not I would pick her. She is invaluable.)

5. Would you ever vajazzle?
No. Never. I didn't even think that was a real thing.

6. Favorite Disney Princess?
Ariel. She swims, she sings, she has red hair. She is the best. I want to be her.

7. Last movie that ever made you bawl your eyes out?
I can't even remember what movie I saw last. Really commercials cause me to cry more than movies. How lame am I?

8. Have you ever broken any bones and if so what?
I broke my ankle twice doing gymnastics. (Pigeon toed people aren't made for gymnastics.)

(Even though it was not a question I am going to tell you because it is more interesting than my stupid foot. My brother accidentally hit me in the head with a putter in the 7th grade and I had a concussion and 70 stitches, plastic surgery style. I still can't feel my head over my left eyebrow.)

1. If you could have one of Superman's, powers which one would you want? Superhuman strength..Flight..Superhuman speed..X-Ray vision..etc
Definitely I would want to fly. That would be so cool. No traffic. If I had a bird's eye view I wouldn't get lost so much.

2. The best thing I ever won is....?
Let's see in the seventh grade I won Boy George tickets. Last year at school I won Best Dressed Teacher.

3. Have you ever skyped with a bloggy friend?
Nope. I don't have skype.

4. What is your favorite Summer month?
July. No Summer School in July and no in service. That is when we usually go on vacation or something.

5. Pool, Lake, or Ocean?
Any of them. I don't care. I love the water.

6. One of my favorite Summer memories is.....?
When I was a single parent the kids and I went on vacations with the church. We went to a ranch one year and to a resort near Sea World the next. Those were good times.

7. What's your favorite secret bargain?
Can't think of one.

1. If a person has a booger in their nose. and you can see it, do you tell them?
Probably. I am obnoxious like that. Plus I would always like to be informed if there is anything gross on my face...well as long as I can fix it. No one needs to point my blemishes and wrinkles.

2. What are you passionate about?
Hmm. That is a tough one. I don't think I am very passionate. God. My family and friends. I have the best family and friends. I wish everyone could be as lucky as I am in those areas.

3. How long have you been blogging?
Since March 2010.
4. What is your favorite "summer" drink?
Sweet Tea. I have been ordering, "Tea - made sweet" at Sonic this summer. It is half sweet and half unsweet. Very good.

5. What is your favorite type of music?
I like country music. And 80's music if I still remember the words.

6. Something I do before I go to bed is......?
I watch my husband obsessively lock the cars doors and the house doors. Even if he just SAW me do it. He can't go to bed without doing it too. Then I usually check on the baby.

7. My Summer vacation plans are...?
We are not going on a vacation this year because we are moving and saving our money for that. We usually do something fun though.

8. My favorite must have, can't live without, beauty product is?
I never thought I would say this since my hair is straight as a board, but I can't live without a flat iron right now. All these darn gray hairs are so kinky I have to flatten them into submission. Thanks for playing!!! Have a great weekend.

Getting to Know You

Getting to know all about you.................................

1. Have you ever snooped around someone else's house?

Not since I was a teenager at my folks house. I think I was looking then for papers that would prove one or both of my brothers were adopted. No luck.

2. Can guys and girls be friends.

I think so. I had guy friends growing up. I have guy friends at work. We don't hang out or anything though.

3. Yes. Ha ha Mom! :)

4. Have you ever stolen anything?

Yes.

I don't want to implicate my accomplice, but once I (with the help of a parent) stole the counted cross stich directions out of a kit. I already bought the kit and lost the directions. (I was half way done with the project. Don't judge me! )

5. Would you rather talk on the phone or text.

Depends who it is. I like to shoot the breeze with a few people, but I am busy. So with some people I just need the facts and texting is better.

6. Memorial Day plans?

Saigie's birthday today. She has girls spending the night. Tomorrow over to my folks for cheeseburgers. Yum.

7. What do you to to relax?

Go for a walk. Read in the bathtub with a glass of wine. Watch t.v.

8. Do you do anything to honor those who have died fighting for our freedom?

No. I should.

A veteran gave me and all the kids a red poppy at Academy yesterday. His hat (cover) said WWII. I shook his hand and said thank you. I would have liked to talk to him more, but I was tearing up and my whole passel of kids was totally blocking the doors.
